In 2009, after years of self-taught experimentation and various artistic schooling, Nick graduated with an Associate's Degree and a Certificate of Excellence for being top of his class from Tom Savini's Special Make-Up Effects Program in Pittsburgh, PA. This program enabled Nick to gain criticism, instruction, and guidance from some of the industry's top professionals including Tom Savini, Jerry Gergely, Greg Nicotero, Jordu Schell, Dorian Cleavenger and many others. After graduating from the Savini Program at Douglas Education Center, Nick spent some time living on the east coast building up his portfolio with new projects and selling work through art shows and to collector's. In 2011, Nick has furthered his career by moving to LA where he now works on whatever new projects come his way.

The focus of Nick's work is creating organic 3-D art with emphasis on realism. Specific skills include: Sculpting, Airbrushing, Acrylic Eyes, Hair Ventilation, Wearable Dentures, Prosthetic Make-Up, Prop Fabrication, Lifecasting, and Moldmaking.

Nick's professional experience includes working on numerous independent theatrical and film productions as a make-up and/or FX artist. Nick has also had artwork published in books and magazines and enjoys creating original and commissioned works of art in his spare time.
